Come fly with us – By Jack

Odzala is really going up in the world – or rather, in the air! At the beginning of November, we began flight operations with our own aircraft, a twin-turbine LET 410. This is an exciting new departure for us, and means we can offer an even better guest experience in Congo.

Stationed at the Mboko Camp airstrip, ZS-OOF can transfer up to 15 passengers at a time between Odzala and Brazzaville. With a journey time of just 1h45, using the aircraft can increase your precious Odzala time by a day and a half when compared to the conventional road trip.

Our very experienced crew of Captain Mike Doubell and First Officer / Flight Engineer Gabor Huth ensure smooth transfers between Mboko airstrip and Brazzaville’s Maya-Maya International Airport.

You’ll be able to combine the Thursday flights can be combined with our current road option for the ultimate Congo fly-drive combination. Enjoy views of the rooftops of Brazzaville and the wide expanse of the Congo River at one end of your flight, and a wonderful new perspective on Lango bai and the Mboko savannah at the other. The sort of experience you can only have in Congo, and yet another reason to book your trip to Odzala.
