How to Obtain a Visa
Most international guests will need a visa to enter the Republic of Congo.
We highly suggest obtaining a visa from the Congolese Embassy in your country prior to arrival (which will require a Letter of Invitation that we as the Congo Conservation Company will help you obtain).
Should you not be able to obtain a visa prior to arrival because you do not have a Congolese Consulate or Embassy in your country, visas on arrival can be arranged through us as a secondary option (which will also require the Letter of Invitation). Guests residing in Australia or Dubai can obtain visas on arrival, however visas on arrival service is not offered to other nationalities that have ROC embassies or consulates available to them.
For CCC to obtain the Letter of Invitation, we need a copy of the photo page of your valid passport. Please send us a scanned copy of this page at least 8 weeks prior to your travel date as there can be delays. Kindly send the scan to firstname.lastname@example.org along with your booking reference.
Once we receive your scanned photo page of your passport, we will establish the letter of invitation and take it to the Congolese immigration authorities, who will authorize the letter with their official stamp and we will scan you a copy of this.
Please print 2 copies the Letter of Invitation – 1 to submit with your visa and 1 with which to travel. Keep it on you at all times while travelling to Congo and present it upon arrival at Maya Maya International Airport in Brazzaville with your visa (or to the official assisting you with a visa on arrival).
Guests whom have opted for a visa on arrival will need to present their Letter of Invitation, Passport and Visa Assistance Letter from Congo Conservation Company on arrival to the officials.
Follow the official through the process and our team will be on the other side of immigration to welcome you.
We strongly advise that international clients get their visas ahead of travelling.
